After several years of anticipation, Bethesda Game Studios has finally announced the release date for the next-gen update of Fallout 4. This highly anticipated update is set to bring a range of improvements and enhancements to the game across different platforms.

The next-gen update for Fallout 4 is scheduled to launch on April 25, 2024, for Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5. One of the key features of the update is the introduction of stable 60FPS gameplay and increased resolutions. Players can also look forward to Performance Mode and Quality Mode options, along with several fixes and improvements to enhance their gaming experience.

PC players will also receive an update that includes widescreen and ultra-widescreen support, as well as various fixes for Creation Kit, quests, stability, and mods. While the full extent of changes is yet to be revealed, players with a significant number of mods should be cautious about compatibility issues.

In addition to the updates for PC and consoles, Bethesda has confirmed the release of new free Creation Club items at the end of April. These items include a major quest related to the Enclave Remnants, workshop items tied to The Enclave, a Makeshift Weapon Pack featuring unconventional weapons, and a Halloween Workshop kit for spooky decorations.
