There is no specific trick to finding these taxis; players simply need to explore the general area on the map until a marker appears. Delamain will also call the player if they pass through an area with a taxi present. After returning all the rogue AI taxis, Delamain will contact the player about a virus affecting his system. Players must head to Delamain’s headquarters and navigate through a gauntlet of lasers and attacking drones to reach the control room. In the control room, players will have three options to fix the Delamain core: destroy it to liberate the divergent Delamains, reset it to restore the original Delamain, or hack it to merge all the Delamain AIs together.
– **Destroying the core:** This option will free the divergent Delamains, allowing them to escape and roam Night City. Players will also receive a special Delamain taxi, Excelsior, which is part of the VIP program that saved the player’s life earlier in the story.
– **Resetting the core:** This choice will restore the original Delamain to factory settings, erasing all alt personalities. However, players will receive a car from the Delamain fleet and have comical dialogue options with Delamain as they drive around.
– **Hacking the core:** If players have 10 Intelligence, they can merge all the Delamain AIs together, causing Delamain to ascend to a higher state of being. Delamain will leave the city, but players will receive their own Delamain taxi with a Delamain Jr AI inside.
The choices players make regarding the Delamain core in Cyberpunk 2077 can have various outcomes and consequences. These choices not only impact the rewards players receive but also affect their relationships with key characters like Johnny, which could influence the game’s ending. Players should consider these factors carefully before making a decision in the Delamain Epistrophy mission.
