Bandai Namco recently released a “release date trailer” for Gundam Breaker 4, revealing that the game will be launching on August 29th, 2024. The trailer showcases the gameplay features of the upcoming title, emphasizing the ability to break, build, and battle like never before. Players are encouraged to build their personal Gunpla using parts from a vast collection of kits, offering the deepest customization options ever seen in the series. The trailer also highlights the robust, frenetic combat mechanics of the game and introduces the new Diorama mode for showcasing player-built creations.
Gundam Breaker 4 was initially announced during Nintendo’s Partner Showcase earlier this year. The game is set to release worldwide in 2024 and will enable players to create their ultimate Gunpla, which can be deployed in various combat missions. By defeating enemies and acquiring their parts, players can equip new skills and customize their Gunpla in a multitude of ways. With over 250 base kits to choose from, Gundam Breaker 4 promises the largest variety of mobile suits and parts in the series. Additionally, players can collect, pose, and display their creations in the Diorama mode for added personalization.
Leading up to the game’s release, Bandai Namco has announced closed network tests for Gundam Breaker 4 in Japan. Scheduled for March 15th and 17th, these tests will allow players to experience a visual lobby for up to 24 players, online multiplayer mode for three units, and the ability to customize 20 different units. A recent broadcast in Japan, the “Gundam Breaker News Station,” provided an in-depth look at the gameplay, showcasing over 25 minutes of footage from the title. Players can witness the game in action between 42:32 and 1:09:20 in the video shared by Gematsu.
