Disney Dreamlight Valley offers a vast array of interactive elements, including rides that you can decorate your valley with. However, prior to the Thrills & Frills update, you were restricted from actually riding on these attractions. With the latest update, you now have the ability to hop on any of the rides that you have acquired through Star Paths or the Premium Shop. Additionally, you can even capture memorable moments by taking photos while on the rides.

Riding the Rides

Riding the rides in Disney Dreamlight Valley may not be as straightforward as one would expect. Unlike traditional theme parks where you can simply walk up to a ride and get on, interacting with the rides in this virtual world is a bit more unconventional. To board a ride, you must first equip your camera. Once your camera is equipped, approach the ride until it appears to be “selected”. Then, press the action button to activate the camera, placing you in camera mode within the ride. From there, you can choose from a multitude of options for capturing photos, including selfies with friends who are also visiting your valley.

Exiting the Ride

When you are ready to disembark from the ride, simply press the cancel button to exit camera mode. It is important to remember to always have your camera equipped if you wish to re-enter the ride later on. This unique mechanic adds an interesting twist to the typical theme park experience and allows for more personalized interactions within the virtual world of Disney Dreamlight Valley.

With the introduction of the Thrills & Frills update, Disney Dreamlight Valley has taken interactive gameplay to a whole new level. The ability to ride on the attractions you decorate your valley with, coupled with the option to take photos while on the rides, enhances the overall immersive experience. By following the simple steps outlined above, you can fully enjoy all that Disney Dreamlight Valley has to offer.
