Despite missing out on the opportunity to be a part of the successful Lord of the Rings franchise, Crowe seems content with his decision. On the other hand, Crowe also expressed his reluctance towards reprising his role in Gladiator 2, citing that his character died in the first film and, therefore, he will not be a part of the upcoming sequel.
