Universal Orlando Resort recently unveiled new details about the Universal Helios Grand Hotel, slated to open in 2025 at the upcoming Epic Universe theme park. The hotel, named after the Greek god of the sun, is a 500-room resort that promises a unique and immersive experience for guests. With its Mediterranean-inspired architecture and lush gardens, Helios aims to blend relaxation and immersion seamlessly.

One of the main draws of staying at the Helios Grand Hotel is its proximity to the park, offering guests a dedicated entrance to Epic Universe. Additionally, guests enjoy early park admission, access to a complimentary shuttle bus, and stunning views of the new Celestial Park from the lobby. The rooms are designed to evoke a sense of tranquility, with some suites themed around popular franchises like How to Train Your Dragon. The hotel boasts a gym, game room, store, and a full-service restaurant called Flora Taverna. For those looking for a quick bite or coffee, there is Aurora Market, while Bar Helios offers panoramic views of Epic Universe.

Aside from the various dining options, Helios features a rooftop lounge, a pool with underwater speakers, cabanas, a hot tub, and poolside movies. The pool area also includes Lotus Lagoon, a bar and grill for guests to enjoy a relaxing day by the water. The addition of the Universal Helios Grand Hotel brings the total number of rooms in Universal’s portfolio to 11,000, across 11 different hotels. As part of this expansion, Universal also introduced new branding for its hotel offerings, categorizing them into Signature Collection, Prime Value, and Value Inns and Suites. This move reflects Universal’s commitment to providing diverse accommodation options for guests of all preferences and budgets.
