AMD has pushed back the release of its new Zen 5-powered Ryzen 9000-series processors due to a problem discovered with the initial batch of chips. Originally set to be available on July 31, the new on-sale date for the Ryzen 7 9700X, Ryzen 5 9600X, Ryzen 9 9950X, and Ryzen 9 9900X processors is now August 8 and August 15 respectively. The delay was caused by the failure of the first batch of processors during the final checks, forcing AMD to work on producing a new batch for their partners.
