Recently, Pugstorm announced that Core Keeper, their mining sandbox adventure game, will be available on Xbox Game Pass for both Xbox Series X|S and PC on its launch date, set for August 27th. This exciting addition to the subscription service brings a new multiplayer experience to players, allowing for solo adventures as well as online co-op with up to 8 players. Core Keeper introduces various features such as base-building, crafting, farming, fishing, and exciting boss battles against Titans.

Core Keeper has already been available in Steam Early Access for a couple of years. The upcoming 1.0 update will introduce customizable world generation and a new biome, making the game even more engaging for players. Moreover, the game will also be launched on additional platforms next month, including PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One. However, it is important to note that at the moment, Game Pass will only offer the Xbox Series X|S console edition of Core Keeper, leaving out Xbox One players.

Microsoft has been active in expanding its library of games on Xbox Game Pass. Just recently, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III made its debut on the service, marking the first appearance of the popular FPS franchise. Alongside this release, several other games have been added to Game Pass in July, including titles like Flock and Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn. However, this month also brought about changes to the service, with an increase in the price of Game Pass and the introduction of a new tier.

With the changes to Xbox Game Pass, the soon-to-be discontinued Game Pass for Console will be replaced by Xbox Game Pass Standard. One key difference between the two tiers is that the Standard version will not include day-one releases like Core Keeper. Players looking to access the latest games as soon as they launch may need to opt for a higher tier or purchase games individually.

Core Keeper’s arrival on Xbox Game Pass is a significant addition that offers players a new multiplayer experience and exciting gameplay features. As Microsoft continues to expand its game library and evolve the Game Pass service, players can expect more updates and changes in the future.
