Instead of following the advice of seeking out a criminal in Vernworth gaol for information on stolen goods, you can head straight to Ibrahim’s Scrap Store located near Everard in Checkpoint Rest Town. Ibrahim offers the Jadeite Orb for sale at a price of 7,500 gold. Additionally, you have the option to purchase a forgery of the Jadeite Orb for an extra 2,000 gold. It is wise to acquire the forgery to maximize the rewards from this quest.
After obtaining both the real Jadeite Orb and the forgery, you have to decide who to give each item to. For the best outcome, it is recommended to give Offulve the forgery first. By doing so, you will receive an Elite Camping Kit, 3,000 gold, 1,000 XP, and ensure a profitable outcome without any additional costs. Then, return to Everard and give him the real Jadeite Orb. In return, Everard will reward you with 12,000 gold and a Ring of Skulduggery which enhances your damage when attacking from behind.
The decision to give the real Jadeite Orb to Everard may be more financially rewarding, but it involves deceiving Offulve. However, in Dragon’s Dogma 2, there is no morality system, so the choice you make does not have any long-term consequences within the game. It is essential to weigh the rewards against the character relationships when making your decision.
While in the Checkpoint Rest Town, take the opportunity to complete other quests such as the Prey for the Pack quest and the Saint of the Slums quest back in Vernworth. These quests can provide additional rewards and expand your gameplay experience in Dragon’s Dogma 2.
