Express locations, hitting opponents with snowballs, and dealing damage with thrown items in the Ship It! Express LTM. These quests not only provide XP rewards but also add a festive touch to the game.
Kickstart Quests
To introduce the new locations and features in Chapter 5, Kickstart quests have been introduced. These quests offer players an opportunity to familiarize themselves with the changes in the game. From dealing damage to enemy players to visiting fishing spots, there’s a variety of tasks to accomplish. By completing these quests, players can efficiently adapt to the new season and gain valuable XP along the way.
Replacing the previous Daily quests, Match quests offer players more control over their XP gains. At the start of each match, players can choose one Match quest from three options. This quest will be locked in for the duration of the match. Completing Match quests not only awards XP but also offers a 15K XP bonus for the first three quests completed within a 24-hour cycle. This allows players to strategically choose quests that align with their gameplay style.
Weekly Quests
Fortnite’s Weekly quests have returned to their original format, with six assignments available for each week throughout the season. Unlike before, these quests will not expire after seven days, giving players ample time to complete them. Week 2 quests include reaching the top 50 players remaining, hitting opponents with Cluster Clingers, searching containers in different matches, and more. These quests offer a mix of challenges, from collecting ammo to dealing damage while on the Train.
Ranked and Survivor Quests
In addition to the regular quests, Fortnite introduces ranked and survivor quests for players looking for an extra challenge. Ranked quests allow players to earn rewards for surviving Storm Circles in ranked matches. The more Storm Circles survived, the more cosmetic rewards are unlocked. Survivor quests focus on outlasting opponents while accumulating eliminations to unlock the prized Llama back blings. These quests add a competitive element to the game for players seeking a higher level of difficulty.
Milestone quests return to their original format, offering a long list of ongoing tasks split into 20 stages. Completing each stage rewards players with 5K XP. The tasks in these quests range from acquiring accolades and activating Fortnite Augments to damaging opponents and traveling long distances. Milestone quests provide a sense of progression and allow players to accumulate XP rewards steadily.
