Xbox has recently announced its plans for Gamescom 2024, stating that over 50 games will be featured during the event. This includes a mix of playable games and special Xbox @ gamescom: Live From the Showfloor Broadcasts that attendees can look forward to. The event will provide a platform for gamers to get hands-on experience with a variety of Xbox titles, as well as third-party playable titles.

Some of the key Xbox titles that attendees can expect to play at the event include Age of Mythology: Retold, Ara: History Untold, Diablo IV: Vessel of Hatred, and more. Additionally, there will be third-party games like Star Wars Outlaws, Space Marine 2, Atomfall, and Creatures of Ava available for gamers to try out. Xbox has also hinted that there will be even more playable titles to discover at the event, making it an exciting opportunity for gaming enthusiasts.

Exclusive Theatre Presentations

Apart from the playable games, Xbox will also showcase a range of titles in exclusive theatre presentations. Games like Avowed, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, and Starfield’s first major expansion, Shattered Space, will be highlighted during these sessions. While gamescom trailers usually don’t contain major breaking news, they are expected to feature new gameplay and smaller reveals that will keep fans engaged and eager for more updates leading up to the event.

For those attending Gamescom 2024 in person, the Xbox booth will be open from 9am or 10am CEST on each day of the show, which runs from 22-25 August 2024. However, for remote participants, there will be livestreamed presentations available on platforms like Twitch, Facebook, and YouTube during the first three days of the event. Special live presentations will also be held, featuring games like STALKER 2, Atomfall, and Age of Mythology: Retold. A detailed schedule for the event will be released closer to Gamescom 2024, so gamers are advised to stay tuned for updates on what to expect from Xbox’s presence at the event.
